Making shapes in maths.

 in maths we make shapes I made a octahedron  with toothpicks and Blu Tack. We have been learning about the faces edges and vertices. I'm a quite a few shapes it was quite hard.

giraffe Hotel

   this is a real motel you can stay in the giraffes can visit anytime they like

I see giraffes sticking their heeds  out the window. I hear giraffes making noises.

I feel the giraffe wheat tongue. I smell the giraffes stinky poo.

I taste the giraffes food. after being with a giraffe I would feel happy because I love giraffes.

how does bacteria help to make cheese.

 

For iquiry we have been learning about different bacteria sells . When we were done learning about bacteria, I chose to learn about bacteria in cheese. i close to share my learning in a poster about cheese.

 The mouse story 24.7.2020

 One day a mouse went out to get some cheese .But then there was a trap. He was a bit of a smart Mouse he went down on a piece of string. Someone was coming and he got worried he pressed a button on his  pocket. He flew back up into the air, he got the cheese and he shared  the cheese with his family but it wasn't enough cheese !  it was only his wife so he went back to get some more cheese there was another trap .he was on string again this time he was smart enough to get four

pieces a cheese the whole family came he was really quick press the button on his pocket he flew up into the air and then the family had a nice tea .

my holiday

In the holiday i went to Laser Strike with my friends Jed Angus and Noah. It was really fun. We were all in different teams. I  got Noah lots in Laser Strike.it was really fun .Then he was getting me lots .We played another round. I got way better .And that round  we went  back to Noah's house for pizza. I had four pieces of cheese pizza. It was really good. We got it from Domino's. We played on the Xbox .We played Mine craft and FIFA .

For Monday mashup we did Chrome music lab. I made a song. It's fun, you should try it yourself .

We did some music it was fun.

I played the maracas and the triangle it was quite easy. We did music in groups of 4. I did 4 chimes of music.

We did a time capsule .It's really fun.

We put a notebook a car and a plane and a monster and A Dvd and money . we decorated the plastic container with Sharpies. was really fun decorating the  the container .it was a bit hard decorating the sides of the plastic container.

 My friends wouldn't listen to me. It's hard. we had to Transformer a ball into a bucket using strings.

Jacinda helped us fight Covid-19 she is a really good person .

Teddy Description

Our house isn't close to the gate either, so we have put a teddy in our garage window if people looked up our drive they would see it. It is called a Beanie boo he has black and blue medium eyes with a wee orange strip next to its tail and it has orange bubbles on its head and pink and a white body.

We have a sausage dog in the closest window to the driveway. We got it for Xmas one year instead of a real dog. It sings feeling hot hot hot. And walks and wags its tail its brown, white, yellow and red.

Lockdown!

Lockdown!

The year is 2020, March was the month that the world seemed to stop. A terrible virus called Corona was sweeping through the world country by country. Before it could take hold of New Zealand, our Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern called for a level 4 lockdown. This means that for 4 weeks, all businesses (except essential services) and school are closed. People are being asked to stay in their homes and stay with their bubble so that the virus can not spread.

During the lockdown  I have been helping my Dad to do a it Wasgij it is 1000 pieces it took  us a week. It wasn't that hard because my dad did most of the puzzle and we got another one. It felt good to do it.

I have been going for lots of walks. My favourite was bottle lake forest where there are fairy doors. We might make one.  I have been doing baking pancakes, cupcakes and helping with the meals.  Once a  week we play minute to win it with friends on zoom. Last night we got second. I did well in the M&Ms game, I ate the rest of them. the M&M game is when you stick 5 straws with blue tac on to a  table, you use another straw to suck up a M&M and put it onto top of the straws.  It's lots of fun.


As well as eating lollies I have had ice cream most nights and I now enjoy hot cocoa.
I can't wait to see my friends again at school ! It's ok being home all the time. I like being with my family.
